The Obsidian Veil Soup Plate is a deeper fused glass plate designed for soup, pasta, risotto, sauced dishes, and bowl-style presentation.
Measuring approximately 24 cm in diameter and 4 cm in height, it gives liquid and composed dishes more structure while keeping the visual language of the collection precise and restrained.
The translucent glass center has a softly textured surface, framed by dark contour lines and a sculptural bronze/rainbow-toned rim. Under warm light, the piece reveals subtle reflections in gold, bronze, rose, blue, and violet tones.

Once composed, the layers are kiln-fused at high heat, allowing the glass to melt, settle, and form its organic movement.
After a controlled cooling cycle, the plate is slumped over a sculpted mold to achieve its soft, flowing silhouette.
The rim is shaped, polished, and finished by hand in our Chiang Mai studio.
