Savanna is built around contrast. Deep iridescent glass moves through tones of bronze, violet and blue, while transparent sections allow the surface beneath to become part of the composition.
From above, the pattern appears almost graphic. From the side, the shallow curve and irregular edge change its character completely.
At approximately 29 cm across, Savanna has the presence of a centrepiece while remaining functional as a serving bowl, fruit bowl or sculptural table object.
No two views are quite the same. Light, angle and surroundings continuously alter what the glass reveals.

Light becomes part of the piece
Savanna was created to interact with the table around it.
Its transparent glass allows the surface beneath to become part of the composition, while the iridescent areas shift between bronze, violet, blue and subtle flashes of gold.
In daylight, the contrast becomes crisp and graphic. In softer evening light, the darker tones deepen and the iridescence moves quietly across the surface.
This changing character is part of Savanna. The glass does not simply sit on the table. It responds to it.
Used for fruit, shared dishes or simply left unfilled, the piece continues to change with its surroundings.
