Made for tables that reveal themselves slowly.

Obsidian Veil moves between transparency and shadow. Light passes through the glass while dark contours and a sculptural bronze-toned rim give each piece definition.

In daylight, the collection feels restrained and translucent. As the light softens, reflections of bronze, gold, rose, blue and violet begin to emerge. Candlelight changes it again.

The effect is never fixed. Food, light and surroundings become part of how each piece is seen.

From individual plates to complete settings, every form belongs to the same visual language. Quiet at first glance. Distinctive once it reaches the table.

Controlled by Heat, Light and Time

The character of Obsidian Veil is not applied to the surface. It is formed within the glass.

Obsidian Veil begins with hand-rolled glass. Subtle differences created during the rolling of the material mean that no two sheets respond to light in exactly the same way.

We compose and fuse this glass under controlled heat, where carefully selected layers soften and merge to develop the depth and translucency that define the collection.

During firing, heat, timing and cooling are precisely managed. The process allows the character already present in the glass to remain visible while giving each piece its intended form, proportion and surface.

Each piece is then individually finished and reviewed for surface quality and visual balance.

The form is controlled. The character of the glass is individual.
