The Obsidian Veil Dinner Plate is a large fused glass plate designed for main courses, fine dining plating, and elevated table presentation.
At approximately 30 cm in diameter, it gives each dish space and presence. The broad translucent glass surface carries a soft textured finish, while the slightly raised organic rim creates a sculptural frame around the plate - shimmering in bronce/rainbow-colors.
Its appearance changes with light. On a clean white table, the glass feels quiet and restrained. Under warm ambient light, it reveals subtle reflections in gold, bronze, rose, blue, and violet tones.

Once composed, the layers are kiln-fused at high heat, allowing the glass to melt, settle, and form its organic movement.
After a controlled cooling cycle, the plate is slumped over a sculpted mold to achieve its soft, flowing silhouette.
The rim is shaped, polished, and finished by hand in our Chiang Mai studio.
